District 10 wants to provide our Zontians the latest information to assist you in planning your trip – booking tickets and hotels, attire, general information about climate, and District 10 activities at the convention. ZI Convention Information Sheet
District 10 also wants to let our Zontians and guests know who is planning to attend from the district. Below is an updated attendance list with names, clubs and dates of travel up to now. If you are planning to attend and your name isn't on the list, please notify the D10 Webmaster at webmaster@zontadistrict10.org. Please include your name, club and dates of travel. ZI Convention Attendees (updated April 30, 2012)
District 10 drawing to help offset costs to the Zonta International Convention in Torino, Italy was won by Vicki Saylor-Probes of the Zonta Club of Fort Worth. Vicki will receive $900 toward the travel, lodging and hotel costs of her trip to Torino. Congratulations, Vicki, and thanks to all who supported this District 10 drawing, even though we fell short of our goal of $3500 and profits to D10 Foundation.
ZI Convention Memorial Service (new)
The Memorial Service is planned for the 11th of July 2012 in Torino. It will be a respectful and sensitive occasion, and you are invited to participate as representatives for our district. More details will be available as we get closer to Convention. If clubs have members that have passed away during this biennium, the last day for submitting information about these members is June 1, 2012; you are encouraged to send the names and clubs of those Zontians now so ZI can begin preparations. It is, of course, possible to add names later if needed. Membership Recognition at Convention (new)
Members who have brought in two or more new members to their clubs will be recognized at the convention in Torino. If you wish to be recognized, a special form must be submitted to ZI. Click on the link below to obtain the form, which must be submitted by club presidents.
